We are extremely disappointed to share that this Saturday’s, September 26, Softball Tournament and Family Picnic has been canceled due to the anticipated severe weather conditions.
With a nor’easter expected to bring significant rain, strong winds, and the potential for flooding, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the event. Given the forecast and the expected impact on the fields, travel, and overall safety and enjoyment of the day, we believe this is the responsible decision for our members and their families.
We are truly sorry to have to make this decision. We know how much our members look forward to this event each year, and we were looking forward to spending the day together with softball, great food, family, and fellowship. A tremendous amount of time and effort has gone into planning this year’s event, and it is especially disappointing not to see it come together as we had hoped.
We sincerely appreciate your understanding and continued support. While we will not be able to celebrate together this Saturday, the safety of our members and their families must come first.
