In an election conducted on May 10, 2023, by Independent Monitor Glen McGorty to fill the vacancy of Trustee to the District Council, Local 1556 member and Rep Center Manager Adam Harkin won in a landslide victory and became the newly elected Trustee. In a hotly contested election between Adam Harkin and Mike Power, the Delegate Body elected Adam, 80-4. Congratulations to Adam on his election and on his role in shaping the future of the District Council.
