Happy Thanksgiving from the NYCDCC

11.25.2020 L Boudreau

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

With every challenge 2020 has thrown at us, I would like to thank each of you for your unwavering commitment to this union. We got through the worst of the pandemic in March and April and we will get through this winter. Always remember, tough times make us even stronger as a union and when it comes down to it, we are all brothers and sisters in one union family.

This has been such a tough year and I am grateful that the carpenters were able to keep our promise of giving back to the neighborhoods that we build, work in, and even call home. Despite the pandemic, the carpenters continued to leave their unmistakable handprint across the greater NYC area. Whether it is handing out food with Catholic Charities Brooklyn Queens, giving away backpacks to kids in the Bronx, cleaning up debris to make a more beautiful Queens, or distributing food across every borough this holiday season, I am always so proud of our union volunteers who donate their free time to help others.

On behalf of the entire District Council, I wish every one of you a peaceful day with your loved ones. Thank you and Happy Thanksgiving.

Fraternally,
Joseph A. Geiger
Executive Secretary-Treasurer
