To my fellow union Brothers and Sisters,
In a couple of weeks, we will say goodbye to another year filled with its share of wins and challenges, as we look forward to 2024 with optimism. There are a lot of good things on the horizon, but we will all have to remain union strong to see them through. That said, I owe each and every one of you a heartfelt thank you for the dedication you have shown over the past year and I want to express my gratitude to everyone, and I truly mean everyone – from our apprentices to our journeypersons, from our retirees to our District Council staff – for the vital roles you have played in keeping our union strong.
This holiday season, take the time to enjoy yourself and reflect upon your achievements and milestones throughout the past year. For some, it may be the completion of a construction project, while for others, it could be an accomplishment outside of our union. Whatever it may be, I am confident that each one of you has something to be proud of. Personally, I am celebrating the birth of my newest granddaughter.
As we step into 2024, let us take pride in our accomplishments in 2023 while also embracing the new opportunities that are ahead in the coming year. I want to extend my warmest wishes to each one of you for a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a Happy New Year. Together, we are an unstoppable force and the best union out there
