After months of organizing, campaigning, and leaning on our relationships with elected officials, the Carpenters Union rallied outside City Hall on November 10th to urge the zoning committee to vote YES to build the new New York Blood Center – and we succeeded! This job will not only be good for the health of our residents, but will provide union carpenter jobs and add tons of hours into the funds! Thank you to all our members who came out in support.
